If You Exercise You Have Rhythm

The fastest way to increase your quality of sleep is to get yourself into an exercise program, if you're not already in one. Exercise helps the quality of sleep in lots of ways, not to mention the million other benefits it has on your body.

  • Regular exercise increases your body temperature rhythm, and makes your body peak at a higher level. This basically means that if you exercise you will have a great energy level throughout the day feeling more motivated and positive.
  • Since your body peaks at a higher level, your body temperature will also drop faster and deeper, giving you a deeper and uninterrupted sleep.
  • Daily exercise keeps your body temperature from flat lining, helping you sleep easier on more stressful days and even on days when you do not exercise.
  • Exercising regularly delays the evening temperature drop allowing you to stay awake and alert longer.
  • Exercise relieves stress, which is a major cause of many sleeping disorders.

If exercise is not part of your daily routine, it isn't too late to start now. The best time to exercise is in early in the morning as it will assist in a quick temperature rise. Avoid exercising 3 to 4 hours before going to bed because your body temperature will still be rising making it difficult to fall asleep.

Exercise doesn't have do be extreme. When I say begin to exercise, that doesn't mean you have to run out an join a gym or start a full workout program that will cause you to fail and do more harm than good. Moderate exercise has the most beneficial effects on the body and you can workout in your home. If you are not in favor of repetitive exercise, you can choose a more demanding physical activity such as aerobics, cycling, swimming, walking or whatever your lifestyle allows. These will have the same effect on raising body temperature.

The thing I guess I am trying to portray here is, what is the goal of energizing your body, and improving the quality of sleep if you are not going to use your body. We all need an exercise routine in our life. Let's get moving!!
