Willpower is a crucial component in achieving success. We all have times in our lives when we get discouraged and we just run out of steam. We then start to lose sight of our goals. It is up to you, and you alone to create techniques that will help you keep that motivation drive alive.

In the contract, you can also add a reward that you will give yourself if you reach your intended goals.
Everyone likes to be rewarded for completing a good job. Even if it is a simple pat on the back, "good job" or a "thank you", it may do the trick to give a person the additional push to move forward but unfortunately these kinds of pleasantries seem to come seldom or not at all. Considering that these are also essential in keeping yourself motivated, you must learn to find a way to get that encouragement on your own through pleasing yourself.
There are all sorts of abusive people in the world. Abusive people lower your self esteem and bring your self worth down. Get the negative people out of your life. Surround yourself with positive people. Imitate their examples and behaviors. Keep a smile on your face and think happy thoughts.

Their stories will be instrumental in motivating you to go for your goal and move forward in your plan. If this still doesn't help you with motivation then maybe you need to educate yourself in what you are trying to achieve.
Oftentimes, not knowing how or where to start is frustrating and intimidating. Knowledge is power. Having a clear understanding of how and where to start is empowering and it will provide the extra push needed to hit the goal you are aiming for and follow it through.
