In society today we all want things right away and are rarely willing to wait long for anything. That is the dilemma of modern day dieting.

- Eating out can also present issues that can overwhelm your weightloss destiny. All too often you are thrust into a social setting that eclipses your desire to anonymously shed the pounds. You may not want to announce to the world your attempt to shed the flab. If you find yourself in this dilemma do not look at what you can’t eat, look at what choices will save you from all the calories. Have water instead of a soda. Skip the alcohol. Opt out the cheese fries and have a salad. If you make a poor diet choice nobody is shoving the fork into your mouth. Skip the full portion and take some home in a box. The idea is that a momentary lapse in diet does not mean your doomed to be trapped in the body that disappoints you, forever.
Do not be too hard on yourself WHEN the time occurs and the diet is not going as you would like. The goal is the finish line and as long as you keep staggering in the right direction it is better than gaining weight over the long haul.
